Mahindra Tractors sales 17,052 units in India during September 2015.

Mahindra & Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector has announced its sales volume for September 2015.

The sales were 17,052 units in India during September 2015, as against 27321 units during September 2014. Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) during September 2015 were 18087 units, as against 28739 units for the same period last year. The exports for the month last at 1035 units.

"We are looking forward to the upcoming festive season to bring in positive sentiments in the marketplace", said Rajesh Jejurikar, President & Chief Executive - Farm Equipment and Two wheeler division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

“We have identified the growth of Quality Companies as a strategic priority for several reasons. First, we believe the market for tractors under management is growing faster than the general truckload freight market.” Further added.

Government and other tractor manufacturing companies are looking forward for increase in monsoon and sales in coming season.
