30 June 2023 - CLAAS look forward to welcoming visitors to its stand at this year’s Royal Highland Show. We hope that you will take the opportunity to come and visit us and see on display the wide range of machines from across the extensive CLAAS product range.

Last autumn saw the introduction of a number of new products, some of which will be on display on the CLAAS stand, including the four-model VARIANT 500 variable round baler range. On display will be the VARIANT 565RC capable of creating bales from 0.90 to 1.60m in diameter and like other VARIANT balers, the 565 incorporates heavy duty drive components and features a new baling pressure control system for even denser bales.

Among the range of tractors from across the CLAAS range on display, there will be an ARION 470 PANORAMIC. In recent DLG trials, the ARION 470 set a new standard for fuel economy which was up to 16.1% below the average for all tractors tested of this size, while at the same time displaying impressive power and torque levels.

A new feature available on all CLAAS tractors is the CEMIS 1200 terminal, which going forward is the new standard terminal not only for tractors but also for the LEXION, TRION, and JAGUAR. Developed in conjunction with Trimble, the new CEMIS 1200 terminal supports all correction signals and enables the use of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BEIDOU. In addition to GPS PILOT steering, CEMIS 1200 is capable of handling online documentation, ISOBus and TASK controller applications, section control and variable applications.

Also on display will be the latest SCORPION 700 series telescopic handler, which also last autumn received a number of updates to further improve operator comfort and performance. These include a new optimized braking and automatic parking brake, updates to the cab and a more sensitive working hydraulic system, while some models also see a 6hp increase in power output and 50Nm more torque.

Completing the line-up of CLAAS displays will be a display of popular models from across the CLAAS Green Harvest range that would be ideal for farmers wanting to make their own hay or silage. Starting with a 2.6m wide DISCO 280C mower conditioner, there is then the 5.2m VOLTO 55 for tending out the crop, followed by the single-rotor LINER 420 for rowing up ahead of a ROLLANT 540RC round baler.
